Y5/Y6 Hollowford Residential

We have been taking children to Hollowford for a number of years and we have always found the children to have a really positive experience, taking part in a number of outdoor challenges and team building activities. Parents have often commented that the children return home not only with fabulous stories, but with greater independence, confidence and resilience. We feel that a residential trip, such as this, is always useful prior to children leaving All Cannings to embark on secondary education. This trip provides lots of new physical experiences and activities, but it is the opportunities for social interaction, personal development and increased self-confidence that the Hollowford trip provides in abundance. These skills and attitudes continue to be of paramount importance to children and the experiences at Hollowford will build on our work in these areas.
