Latest Communication - 22nd October 2025 End of Term Update from the Chair of Governors
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the end of term, I wanted to take a moment to share a brief update on behalf of the Local Governing Body (LGB).
It’s been a positive start to the academic year, and we’re pleased to see the school settling well into its rhythm.
We recently held our first LGB meeting of the year, where we discussed how we can best support the school leadership team with their priorities for the year ahead.
For those of you who are new to the school, you can find more information about the LGB—who we are and what we do—on the school website. We’re always happy to hear from parents, so if you’d like to speak with any of us, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’ve also received some feedback that there’s been a bit of confusion around the role of the LGB. To help clarify things, we’ve put together a short “myth buster” poster which is attached to this email. We hope it sheds some light on our responsibilities and how we work with the school.
