Concerns and Complaints

From time to time there may be a need for parents to get in touch. This may be due to a child coming home and talking to their parents about something that has happened, sometimes to upset them, in school. It is best to listen to your child carefully and acknowledge their concerns, but avoid discussing your own feelings and opinions, which may add to your child's distress.

School and parents working in partnership is the best way to address your child's concerns and in the first instance, please contact your child's teacher to discuss the matter with them, as most day to day issues that arise can be sorted quickly this way, as it may be just a case of seeking clarification, or communicating your child's feelings.
